Echo Lake State Park

Echo Lake State Park -  If you're looking to go for a swim, cool off by the lake, take a hike, have a picnic, or just kick back and read a book, this is the place to do it.  Rent a canoe, kayak, or paddle boat, it's a great place for kids on the beach, swings, and play structures.   Grassy expanses of lawn for frisbee, boat rentals, grills, and restrooms.

There is a fee to enter the grounds and it's worth it.

Woodward Reservoir

Woodward Reservoir - A jewel to both look at, listen to, swim and kayak, and canoe in. Surrounded by verdant woods and mountain peaks, they both are home to numerous waterfowl, especially loons.

Lefferts Pond

Lefferts Pond - Lefferts Pond Area provides a wide variety of activities for Forest visitors, which includes mountain biking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, picnicking, cross country, skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking. These trails offer loop opportunity that begins and ends at the parking lot.
