When you book your stay at The Killington Chalet, it’s important to plan ahead for your grocery shopping. For convenience, there are several options right on the mountain, with the Killington Market being your best bet for essentials. The Killington Market offers a good selection of groceries, including beer and wine. However, if you're looking for liquor, you’ll need to head to the Killington Deli, which also houses an 802 Vermont Liquor Store.
Tips:
- Keep in mind that grocery prices on the mountain will be higher compared to those in nearby Rutland, VT, which is about a 20-minute drive away.
- The price of liquor remains consistent across Vermont due to state regulation, but for larger grocery hauls or specialty items, it’s worth making the trip to Rutland.
- Beer and wine are sold in most grocery stores
Rutland offers more comprehensive supermarket options, including Market 32 (a high-end Price Chopper) and Hannaford. For liquor, the Grand Union in Rutland also has an 802 Liquor Store on-site. In addition to groceries, Rutland has a Walmart located near Market 32, along with a CVS and Walgreens for any pharmacy needs, both at the intersection of Rt 4 & Rt. 7.

This is the ONLY on the mountain market and it will have most of your needs, however, if you are doing a large grocery shop, you will save $$$ driving 20 minutes to Rutland and shopping at Price Chopper or Hannafords.

The Killington Deli is open 7 days a week all year long. We have an extensive selection of Green Mountain Coffee, as well as a large variety of Boar's Head meats and cheeses! Take home cold cuts for the whole crew or better yet, try our famous sandwiches! You haven't had the full Killington experience until you've had breakfast or lunch here!
Egg sandwiches served daily on bagels, rolls, wraps, or ciabatta until 11:30 am and YES, we have Taylor Pork Roll!! Try our Western Omelet (Ham, Taylor Ham, Peppers, Onions, and Pepper jack cheese) salsa if you dare, tucked into a warm wrap!
Lunch subs, sandwiches, fresh deli salads, hot soup specials, and chili served morning, noon, and night!
